biography

Gottlieb Lorenz, on 30/04/1959 born and raised in Galtür, is, in the elementary school, then attended high school in Bregenz. He's first working in a bank, it draws him more and more in the mountains, especially on the Jamtalhütte, where his ancestors since 1882, first establishing, then work to management. Forty years from 1953 to the father Lorenz hut tenants and gives the cabin then the hands of Gottlieb. At the big avalanche in 1999 losing his wife and his mother her life.
